Independence day – August 15, 2022
On August 15, Christwood School recalled with pride and patriotism the Freedom India obtained from foreign rule in 1947. Commemorating 75 years of independence, the guest of honour Lt. Col. Anuja Varudkar greeted the young Christwoodians and hoisted the National Flag, the symbol of Freedom. Her presence and address, quoting incidents from the life of Maj. Somnath Sharma was awe inspiring, kindling in the youngsters the spirit of allegiance to the Motherland. Children showcased their talent through a variety of events , bringing the curtain down on the Independence Day Celebrations, 2022.
